Funny Notable expressions

In Yaaradi Nee Mohini song, in Engeyo Paartha.. song, while Nayan shoots a baloon, others will clap and she will give a noteable expression as if she has stamped shit!!

In Mudhal Mariyathai climax, when Radha lands back in the village, Shivaji's hands will rise and fall and there will be very very slight movement in his lips. Too hilarious

In Em Magan film, Nazar will throw flour on Bharath in the grossory shop, when Kajala wants to speak to him, and Bharath will give excellent noteable expression. Actually he has done what Thirumurugan has asked him to do

For long I have wanted to write about Sivaji's performance in MM. IMO one of his best. But this one scene makes me apprehensive.

Actually, for me, MM isnt one of Sivaji's best. Adhellam chumma chinna pasangaLukkAga, pOra pOkkula "idhai thaane neenga edhirpaarkareenga"-nu paNNinadhu. I see more of Bharathiraja in that lips quivering than Ganesan himself.

first of all, the movie (MM) itself is an highly over-rated one :yessir:

Plum ,It is surely not one of his lesser performances. I know lots of old-hands get rightful annoyed by the disproportionate attention this performance receives at the expense of his older films. But that doesn't make this performance any lesser.

Not lesser but not greater either is where I stand.

in the movie perianna (or kannupada pogudayaa.. cant remember..one of the movies where gap10 has the funny poonai type meesai)

gap10 will be eating his lunch - suddently he will look at the soru and say "dai eduraa vandiya... en mannule rendu usiru uyirukku oosalaadikittu irukku".... and proceeds to go and save the two people being beaten up in his village.

how he came to know about the people by looking at the rice is :godonlyknows:

but the expression by gap10 is priceless

Thirisoolam: Almost the entire movie. One song which has the maximum number of notable expressions is "Irandu Kaigal, Ondraanal". The camera toggles between two Sivajis on a jeep.

Aasai: Prakashraj's screams when Poornam lights the matchstick - a cluster of remarkably funny expressions.

Gounder's flexing of his facial muscles and the zig zag movement of his jaws in romantic scenes is one truly notable expression. 8-)

I agree. MM was Jujube for NT. Purely Barathiraja's direction. Watered down for contemporary consumption. What riles us fans is that those not familiar with NT's overall body of work only cites this and (deservedly) Thevar Magan as great performance.

All of Cheran's expressions are notably funny.

All of Ravikrishna's scenes in 7G. They made good fun of his expressions in Lollu sabha :lol:

In movies like Red,I find him funny..I couldnt hate that.....

But with respect to vijay....He was irritating when he does movies like bagavathy..

may be because ajith never tries to be rajni on screen or atleast has the screen presence when he tries to a "mass hero"
