Owl: My personal favorite so far - look for the reflection of the vehicle in the eyes!
Supero super sathya and kalyasi  The beach was excellently captured. The details of owl is something extra-ordinary, very crisp and bright. Great going!
Owl: 1/320 secs, f 5.6, ISO 100 @ 275 mm. Image Zoomed and cropped.
Thanks Kals, V_S! It's a burrowing owl which lives on burrows (obviously :) ) Active during day, traveled close to 40 miles with a friend to get the shot! My first day with DSLR!
Sathya ore oru suggestion, photo eduthathukku apparom zoom panni crop paneenga na athoda clarity koranjudum, edukum pothe namma kaal thaan namakku zoom, konjam kittaka nadanthu poi eduthudunga...

Seen couple of photos with sky in dark blue color. Athu enna camera settings trick ah ?
I can't take my eyes off from this Poovil Vandu. Nature is bliss! Sparkling color combination of Velvet & Green that will keep you lost in search of vandu. The right side blurring or the absence of leaves is the only shortcoming.

Thank you sathya. Delighted!
Guys, you can post your photos right here in its full image form.
Use the tags [ IMG] and [ /IMG] (without spacing) to copy the url here.
For instance, from the above example:
[ IMG]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7023/6783357555_bb19048ef1_b.jpg[/ IMG]
without spacing becomes....

Thanks NOV for the useful tip. Will try to post full image as you said.
How do you like this? Is it good, bad or worst? Taken from inside Lincoln Memorial to align the Washington Monument (at the far), mainly to focus some great clouds. If I would have gone past the memorial, I would have got a shot of clouds and the monument, but I felt it would have been just another picture. Would like to hear your comments.

Very good, would have been better if the angle had eliminated the lone pillar at the background (2nd row) and the Washington monument is in the center - between 2nd and 3rd pillar in the front row.
Perspective king Venkiraja can throw more light on this.

Thanks sathya and Kalyasi. Sathya. Yes, I agree with your view point, that would have been nicer, but as you see, there is another pillar at the back (right behind the first and second pillar). I won't allow me to go to center, even if I go, I don't get the full length of pillars and the full view of the sky. That's if you see I have centered the picture with two back pillars. But definitely will have to improve, and there must be some other way too.
Yes. Had the eV as low as -1.7 AFAIK. It was basically for a case study on Memorials in and around Chennai. Made this photo the cover page
Thanks thala. And, all others who have contributed. Please do pass on the thread link to other photographers. Remember some stunning shots from annan KB. Amerikka basically, but so beautifully done.
A deeper DOF could have done so much more help. Would have added the 'emphasis' factor. A lower angle could've made it even more dramatic.
