after reading this, yesterday i wanted to watch 'rajavin paarvaiyilae', i've never seen this movie before... i was so curious to see how they both acted together..

first i thought they had 50-50 chance in the movie, but it was actually vj's movie, he is the hero. he comes as 'illaya thalapathy'..ajith is just aijthkumar.. no title for him at that time....

the movie was painfully slow...after 1 hour into the movie ajith comes as vj's friend..love sick romantic hero...and then he commits suicide after 20 mins.. that's it...
i didn't watch the movie after that...ajith did a very small part in that movie...
vj was the main hero doing the fights and romance...

but even though their part together was small it was really good..they acted as friends ..vj helping ajith to win his girl.. very nice to see them together and at the same time i felt very strange too...all those years ago...

but now i imagine them acting together...almost impossible.. :smile: i don't want to see that happening in the future either

both changed lot...IMO ajith's changed into a action hero from being a romantic hero...

and about fans calling ajith 'thala'.... i think 'thala' is the best name to call him..i'm always grateful to murugadas for giving him the name 'thala' in 'dheena'
nice movie...i've never liked the title 'ultimate star'

but i don't like murugados anymore these days.. you know why

Who knows who came up with Thala. It could have been assistant directors' idea, some other guys idea. We don't know so I won't close my eyes and give the credit to Murugu. I mean he is the director who wanted to show Gaption as tech-savvy guy but then shot the scene with Gaption playing windowsmedia player in Ramana.

Btwn 'Thala' has so much gethu and it is the best nick anyone would have wished for. And it is also not a copy.

'Thala' has been around for a very long time actually but it has been made popular and given its own identity after Dheena.

Yes I know everybody had a thala but still thank you for the information.
