I found one shortcoming with VJ ??
I didnt find her coming out with good numbers on folk or village type songs..... More of a traditional type like KJY...
Especially one song.. .which I feel she could have avoided....
Muthu mala mela mullapoo maala......... etc etc... Dont remember the movie and song.... but was analysed threadbare during those days and was severely criticised.
Ok... there was one song....
Aala marathu kileee, aala paarthu pesum kilee..
Probably Shankar Ganesh....
Other than that I dont remember any VJ hit of village type songs.
was listening to vaasam veesum vaana cholai from poo poova poothirukku today morning after a long gap.

Correct Balaji. VJ's voice very suitable for Sripriya. When she was acting for the songs "Orey Jeevan Onre Ulaam" (neeya), and "Nee kettaal naan maatten endraa solven kanna" (Ilamai oonjaladukirathu), we can see Sripriya singing herself. Such a coincidence, like TMS for Shivaji, SPB for Kamal, Malaysia vasudevan for Rajini, SCKrishnan for Thangavelu...etc.Quote:
