I have seen Paasa malar, Thilaana mohanaambal, karan and navarathiri too. Those were also nice movies.

C.V.Rajendran - 16

A.P.Nagarajan - 12
Heroines wise , he has acted with 83 heroines,K.R.Vijaya leads the list with 43 films followed by Padmini -40,Savithri - 25,Saroja Devi - 23,Jayalalithaa - 20,Sowcar - 18 and Devika - 16.
Now, figure out the films - including other languages and guest appearances the total is 307.

MohanRaman, Excellent stats, but I just have a doubt in one of the numbers .... I was watching an interview of Padmini sometime in the past ... There she mentioned she had the honor of acting with Sivaji in 53 movies as heroine, the highest for any actress that acted with him .... :? :? :?

Joe Anna, Great collection of Sivaji movies .... GOWRAWAM is my all-time fav Sivaji movie .... Enna acting ... Just like an encyclopedia .... And then comes Thanga Padakkam ... In his entertainer kinda movies, Ooty Varai Uravu rocked .... And you know what my mom's fav movie is ... It's Paazhum Pazhamum !! :D :D

I think the first time I ever heard that song was in my 9th.My friend's mom was singing that song and I kept pestering her to tell me which movie it was from and she didnt remember the movie.Then I finally found that out and once again went hunting for the song..appoellam tapes thane famous.Had no luck :).Till I happened to catch the song once on SunTV by chance I didnt know anything about that song..Its till date one of my fav old time classics.:).

When I was growin up, my Dad used to have abt 6 or 7 cassettes of MGR hits ... Both Thathuva padalgal and duets .... And my Mom, all these Sivaji songs, AM Raja songs etc etc ... Athellam ketu ketu apdiyae manappaadam ayiduchu ... You know those old Meltrack 90 mins cassettes .... :) :)

I used to record songs in these tapes :).They started dying away by the time I left school though.
