Kappaleri & Pachai Killigal - Indian
These two songs evoke so much emotion every time I listen to them. A kind of sadness mixed with happiness/ hope.
Pure greatness from ARR.
Oh yes, great numbers! Esp Pachai Kiligal, something so subtle and sweet. Its like a lullaby. :DQuote:

* enna enna from Udhaya
* iru kaNgaL sollum from kAdhal samrAjyam

Last song - Udhaya Udhaya uLaRugiREn. What song yA. I am not a fan of Hariharar's singing but he is too good in this song. apdiyE kAdhal vazhiyudhu, sadhana too. Btw what type of guitar is that in the second interlude?
I'm not sure if it is Guitar :? Probably some other string instrument :roll:
vinnaithandi varuvaya theme - savadi
Jiya Jale from Dilse :musicsmile:
This might be old news but just recently I came across an article whereby one of ARR's sound engineer, S. Sivakumar informed that there is a sound of anklet in Jiya Jale. In truth, the sound was not from an anklet but from Lata Mangeshkar's bangles that ARR had recorded.
After reading it, I was just so tempted to hear the song again. And true enough, there is the sound throughout the pallavi and saranam :D Interesting...
Revisited Jodha Akbar, While Azeemo Shaan is majestic I am crystalized by the beautiful melodies jets out amply from JB, ILD, KMK & MM . And 2 instrumentals - Mind-boggling! kaadula thena voduthu Wat an album :thumbsup:
Tu Guzarish - Just checked for Mandolin Seenu ludes. couldnt stop Contnd... Poetic! Impressive tune and lovely singing by Javed Ali & great backing by Sonu.
Google :)
