asianet and manorama channels posted that vela collcted around 5.10 crores..dnt know whether it is the net profit or the total collection..there were some collection reports in some malayalm forums..like collection of around 8 crore and around 4 - 5 crore profit..but dont no how much they are true..

vela released in around 110 screens..as per last week movie was running in around 54 centers..

But until Aascar Ravichandran counters him with some proof, Udhay's claim stands true, right? //

They have something called the 100 crore club in Bollywood, a term frequently used by pundits like Taran Adarsh. Movies like 3 Idiots, Bodyguard, Dabangg and now RaOne have collected more than 100 crores and are part of this group. Im glad and surprised to see Tamil movies nearing this landmark. Unfortunately the North Indian media does not care or notice this. They do not not include Dasavatharam or even Enthiran in this league.

100% true. Moreover this amateur (Udhay) is not worth to be a part of discussion. Just wait for another couple of years and see whether this guy will still be a part of TFI.

If velayutham collected 90+ crores, Enthiran collection would be 1000 crores.
