IMHO, they should avoid releasing their movies on the same date.
In PadyappA veRRi vizha or Rajni 25 (???), Rajni said they will not release on the same day! But he did not keep his word
Well, KH is claimed to be a son of Shivaji. Okay let him have a professional competion with Rajni as he claims. Why does he compete with his own dad's production (Shivaji)???
The chances for success of their movie is more when they release it in the different dates or occasion. I am positive, the overseas distributors are badly hurt because of the simultaneous release of CM and MX.
They both are full of crap and hypocrites as for this issue is concerned. They did not keep their word just like any other cheap politician 8)

Kbee, i won't accept this fully. Most of the times Super* was a clear winner in B.O. against Ulaga Nayagan when their movies got released together, even before Thalapathi. Manithan had huge collections than Nayagan. Nayagan came in 3rd palce when Manidhan and Uzhavan Magan took first and second places. Vikram, Unnal Mudiyum Thambi were average when Rajadhi Raja, mapillai were blockbusters. Even Maaveeran and Siva were average movies, they created records in collection. But Paer sollum Pillai, Kadhal Parisu sank in the box office without any traces. I'm not degrading Kamal, but at one point Mohan and Ramarajan were considred as minimum guarantee actors, but not kamal. For instance , take any big production companies, you can see When rajini gave a hit to those production houses , Kamal movies were a disaster to them. Kavithalaya, Sathya, Devar films, A.V.M , P.A Art productions (Panchu Arunachalam's )produced movies again and again with Super* since he was their best bet. On the other hand Kamal was an ill luck for these production houses. A.V.M's paer sollum pillai was huge disaster , same happened to Sathya movies Kadhal parisu and Kavithalaya's Unnnal Mudiyum Thambi ended his relation with Kavithalayam. My point here is Super* movies are way ahead at B.O than any other actor in South India.
Well I see that all over your postQuote:

There was a question asked either in Hi Madan or in Andhumani and the question is "whats the difference between kamal and rajini" and the answer was "God made some people who can really work hard and for some other people God has to work hard" - well you know who is what, again I am not disgrading anyone here.Quote:

OMG!!!! what crappy introduction music for rajini in CM???it sounds like some primary skool music.... how can rajini approve for it???Deva & ARR did much better,y,even the best for Rajini's introduction music..im not talking bout the song thevuda...but his 1st apprearance in the movie.... where he kicks the guy & the guy flies over.... when watching it,i didint get the 'rajini' feel ... very very bad BGM.....
though its a rajini movie, the story is the hero. Many complains about this movie cuz they say its a recycled story from malayalam, so was GHilli (OKkadu in telugu) but that was the biggest block buster in 2004 and ran over 200 days. I hope the best for Chandramukhi

Agreed, this was never the case with BABA, ARR did an AWSOME BGM in BABAQuote:

That also is crying. Can any other actor do it?Don't throw away comments just becos you don't like him.
