Mahinda says there is no minority in SL - only those who love this country and those that dont - well if this statement is not ultra nationalistic neo nazi shit, then what else is?
So the next question is what will mahinda do with ppl whom he considers as 'not loving the country'. I guess there is still lot of ammunition left for destroying ppl i guess.
cinefan,
If you criticize LTTE, that's understandable.
If you criticize a gov that does not punish violent killers swiftly- like India - that too is understandable.
But if you appreciate a gov that kills its own INNOCENT people indiscriminately, it'll be a shame on you.
And to learn from them as an example? Laughable statement. Should we also learn from Polpot, Idi Amin etc. ?
ada neenga appadiyae cabtan baanila deevIravaathigala deel panna solveenga poala?!! Perfume ellam kuduthu visarikrathukku paerthaan 'democracy' illainna athu 'Dictatorship'. I hope you dont wish to see a BJP & Visaykaanth fed idea of Indian nationalism which will eventually culminate into a fascist state.Quote:

I think CF needs to do some more reading in this issue. There is a collective amnesia on this issue post May 21 1991 in India. C_F is also in the same category. Just like they say two wrongs may not make a right, All the wrongs by LTTE still does not empower any govt - not just SL govt to use indiscriminate fire power immaterial of consequences of human loss.Quote:

Seriously speaking..
I look back and feel that entire IPKF episode and Rajiv Gandhi's bungling cost eelam Tamil's more. I was reasding all the articles in frontline, Gen.HarkiratSingh's articles in rediff and found that Prabhakaran and LTTE were deceived - not once or twice, but repeatedly by Indian Government and J.N.Dixit. Instead of strengthening the eelam movement by bringing together all outfits, Indian RAW and central govt chose to divide and confound. LTTE were asked to lay down arms while EPRLF were being actively armed by RAW
The 13 tigers who were captured by IPKF entering Srilanka were handed over to SLA letting them commit suicide, Col.Dileepan fasted unto death and J.N.Dixit never came out to meet him.
In all this, the single act of conciliation he did to continue Karuna as East military commander(for North - East stabilization) was his biggest blunder for Karuna massacred muslims and 600 unarmed policemen and is currently a cabinet minister - while LTTE has to answer to his human rights record as well..
அப்படிப்பட்ட கொலை பாதகங்கள் செய்வது தானே இலங்கையில் ஆட்சியாளர் ஆவதற்கான அடிப்படைத்தகுதி?Quote:
