விஜய்-அமலாபால் ஜோடியாக நடித்து, சந்திரபிரகாஷ் தயாரித்த ‘தலைவா’ படத்தை ‘மதராச பட்டினம்’ புகழ் விஜய் டைரக்டு செய்திருக்கிறார். இந்த படம் திரைக்கு வருவது பற்றி பட அதிபர் சந்திரபிரகாஷ் ஜெயின், நிருபர்களிடம் கூறியதாவது:-
‘‘தலைவா படம், நாளை மறுநாள் (வெள்ளிக்கிழமை) திரைக்கு வருகிறது. இந்த படத்தில் தணிக்கை குழுவினர் ஆட்சேபித்த 4 இடங்களை மட்டும் நீக்கியிருக்கிறோம். படத்தில் 5 பாடல் காட்சிகளும், 4 சண்டை காட்சிகளும் உள்ளன. படம், 2 மணி 50 நிமிடங்கள் ஓடும்.
