Thanks Satish. Both the films OVU and IM were received well. IM had the full support of the families and Ladies simply thronged the theatres. OVU as I said earlier was a rollicking entertainer. The re-releases of OVU were like festivals. In 1981 January at Chinthamani, there was a gap of 5 weeks between Polladhavan and Ram Lakshman. Sethu films was the distributor for both and they used this interim for OVU which ran for 2 weeks and Raja that ran for 3 weeks. Still remember the crowd and response. IM compared to OVU had not had that much of re-releases but whenever it was screened, it did well.
During the first release in 1967, OVU was released in Central and IM was in New Cinema.

Yes, Sarithra Nayagan was produced by Ramakrishna Studios of NTR and it was a remake of one NTR movie. Don't remember the song though. May be Raghavender sir will help.
