thanks aarthi, for trying out the receipe. so feeling sad with out parents. what to do that is life. take care of pranay, coz he is the most affected one without grand parents. he cannot express his feelings.

HEALTHY VEGE ADAI
Ingredients:
1 cup moong dal
¼ cup urad dal
3 tbs sliced cabbage
3 tbs grated carrots
3 tbs chopped spinach
2 green chillies chopped
1 big onion chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp tumeric powder
1 tbs chopped coriander leaves.
Salt to taste
2 tsp oil
Method:
Soak the 2 dals for about 3 hours.
Then grind it to a smooth thick pouring consistency
Keep it aside.
Heat a wok with the oil, add in the cumin seeds.
Let it splutter, then add in the chopped onions and chillies.
Stir a little, add in the spinach. cabbage, carrots,
tumeric powder and salt. Sauté for a minute and remove.
Add this veges to the ground batter , add in the chopped coriander leaves, add salt if needed. Mix well.
Heat a dosai kal on medium heat. Spread 1 ladle full of batter
on the dosai kal. Pour 1 tsp of oil around the spread batter.
Let it cook for a minute, flip it over and cook.
The adai must be cooked till a bit brown and crisp.
Serve with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.

Ingredients:
6 limes
¼ cup sesame oil
1 tsp tumeric powder
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds slightly roasted and powdered,
2 tbs chillie powder
1 tsp fenugreek seeds ,slightly toasted and powdered
¼ tsp asafetida powder
Little curry leaves
Method:
Wash and dry the limes. Heat a pot of water and boil the limes
For about 5 minutes. Remove and cool. Wipe the limes well.
Cut the limes into small pieces and discard the seeds.
Sprinkle tumeric and salt over the lime slices
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, then add the
Curry leaves and fry for a minute.
Add the lime pieces, fenugreek powder, chillie powder,mustard powder
And asafetida powder, mix well and remove from stove.
Cool to room temperature and store in a jar.
It takes 2 or 3 days to absorb the spices.
Use a dry spoon and sun the pickle for a few days.
