விளையாட்டா படகோட்டி (ஹரிஹரன்) - ஆரம்ப இசையில் வரும் பிதாமகனின் வெறுமை இசையிலேயே பாடலின் பாதையை குறிப்பால் உணர்த்துகிறார் இசைச்சித்தர். ராஜாவுடன் ஹரி. ஒரே வரியில் சொல்லப் போனால் பிரமாண்டம். முன்னவர் ஒவ்வொரு இசைக்குறிப்புக்களிலும் தெரிகிறார் என்றால் பின்னவர் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தைகளும் வெளிப்படுத்தும் அதிர்வுகள், அழுத்தத்திலும் நிற்கிறார். பாடல் வரிகளின் மீது நம் மனம் குவியச் செய்ய ஒரு முக்கியக் காரணமாக ஹரியின் குரல். பூங்காற்று கொஞ்சம், புண்ணியம் தேடி வரிசையில் விளையாட்டா படகோட்டி.. என்றுமே மனதில் நிற்கும். :notworthy:

வாங்கும் பணத்துக்கும் : பாலுவின் குரலில் சக நண்பனைக் காண்கிறோம். ஆரம்ப இசையின் கிடார் துள்ளல் ரொம்ப பிடிச்சிருக்கு. பாடல் முழுவதும் இசை பலப் பல படிக்கட்டுக்களாக ஏறிப் போகிறது. பாலுவின் இதுபோன்ற குரல் கேட்டு எம்புட்டு நாளாச்சு! ராஜாவின் கூட்டணியில் இன்னொரு இன்னிங்ஸ் தொடங்கியாச்சு! ஒரு ரஜினி படத்திற்காக பாலு பாடுவது போலவே இருக்கு! நாடி, நரம்பெல்லாம் குதூகலம்! :notworthy:

தாவித் தாவி போகும் : ராஜாவின் குரல் மனசை வருடிச் செல்கிறது. முதல் இடையிசை - குட்டி சிம்ஃபோனி.

சின்னக் கண்ணிலே - ஷ்ரேயா,நரேஷ் கூட்டணி தாளக்கட்டோடு அழகுபட பயணிக்கிறது. முதல் சரணத்தைவிட இரண்டாவது சரணம் பிடிக்கிறது. நரேஷை ராஜாவின் இசையில் அடிக்கடி கேட்க நேர்ந்தால் மிகவும் சந்தோஷமடைவேன்.

I love this song Kalyanamam Kalyanamam, song (Mayil). Simple yet, So many things happening..nice pazhassi raja tribal song too. Does seem to appear in anyones list.

Vilayaatta (Hariharan) is my pick of the album so far.

Thaavi thaavi is nice with superb interludes. It slightly reminds me Unnai Kel Unnai Kel from Inime Naanga Than..

HH sounds good in the song, but screws up the la/La and na/Na sounds, which to me is difficult to digest in an IR song (think 'Valmiki'). Shreya, vadanaattu kuyil, nails these almost perfectly in comparison. ellaam oru dedication dhaan, illa?

I am loving the 'vaangum panathukku' rhythm. Will try and explain why later in the day.

Was away due to personal reasons!

I see that Mayilu and Dhoni are released! good! Listening to Dhoni now. The SPB song is indeed a surprise and special. It has the guitars that I normally do not expect from Raaja. Brilliant! More thoughts later when I get to give more time to the albums!

"Thaavi thaavi" has been composed in waltz kind of rythm like "Vandhaal vandhaal rajakumari.." .

The rythm of "Vaangum panathukkum" reminds me of the rythm of "Ananda kuyilin paattu..." from Kathalukku Mariyadhai..
