இதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம் இதுவரை இலங்கையை ஆட்சி செய்த அரசும், கொள்கை வகுப்பாளர்களுமே!!
தமிழ் மக்கள் இந்தியாவில் இருந்தும், முஸ்லிம் மக்கள் அரபு நாடுகளில் இருந்தும் பல்வேறு தேவை கருதி இலங்கை வந்தனர் என்று வரலாறு கூறுகின்றது.
இதை ஆதாரமாக வைத்து இலங்கையில் இருந்த ஆட்சியாளர்கள் தமிழ், முஸ்லிம் மக்களை வேற்று இனத்தவர்களாக பிரிக்கத்தொடங்கி உரிமைகளையும் மறுத்ததன் விளைவை இந்த நாடு அனுபவிக்கின்றது.
இதன் ஆரம்ப கட்டமாக இலங்கையில் பிறக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தைக்கும் அம்மா, அப்பாவின் சாதி, பிறப்பு அத்தாட்சி பத்திரத்தில் பொறிக்கப்பட்டு சாதி முத்திரை குத்தப்படுகின்றது.
தமிழர்கள் இலங்கை தமிழர் என்றும், முஸ்லிம்கள் இலங்கை சோனகர் என்றும் பிரித்து குறிப்பிட்டு அனைவரும் இலங்கையர் எனும் கொள்கையை மறைக்கின்றனர்.
இதன் மூலம் உருவாகும் சமுதாயம் பல்வேறு உரிமை மறுப்புகளுக்கு ஆளாகி பேரின வாதிகளின் ஆதிக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் நாட்டின் மீது வெறுப்பை காட்டுகின்றனர்.
இதன் எதிர் விளைவுகளாக இனத்துக்கே அன்றி, நாட்டுக்கு ஆதரவு வழங்காமை மற்றும் வேறு நாடுகளில் குடியுரிமை தேடி வாழ்வை தொலைத்தல் ஆகியவற்றை குறிப்பிடலாம்.
நாட்டை குட்டிச்சுவராக்கி, ஊழலில் ஈடுபட்டு, மக்களின் பணத்தில் சொகுசு வாழ்வு வாழும் அரசியல் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு தேசப்பற்றை பற்றி பேச எந்த அருகதையும் இல்லை.
இவர்களை விட சிறுபான்மை சமூகத்துக்கு தேசப்பற்று அதிகமே!! தேசப்பற்று சிறுபான்மை மக்களிடம் இருந்து மறைவது ஆட்சியாளர்களின் குற்றமே அன்றி சிறுபான்மை சமூகத்தின் குற்றமல்ல.
வீண் விரண்டா வாதங்களை விட்டு அனைவரும் இலங்கையர் எனும் கோட்பாட்டின் கீழ் கொள்கைகள் வகுக்கப்பட்டு உரிமைகள் வழங்கப்படின் தேசப்பற்று தானாக வேர் ஊன்றும்.
ஆனால் அரசியலுக்காக நாட்டை அழிக்கும் அரசியல் வாதிகள் ஓரம் கட்டப்பட்டு நாட்டுக்காக அரசியல் செய்யும் அரசியல் வாதிகள் தோன்றும் வரை தேசப்பற்று மறைந்தே வாழும்.
one thing i noticed during Ind v SA match was that local SLans were supporting SA or indirectly pak to qualify and infact it means they want india to go out..........i hope the north indian and other indian population were seeing that and understand that SL is just like pak when it comes to anti-india attitude.......Quote:
