தூங்காவனம் திரைவிமர்சனம் – ரசிகர்களின் ரசனைக்கேற்ற நந்தவனம்..!
தூங்காவனம் படம் பிரஞ்சுல பாத்தாலும் சரி, தமிழ்ல பாத்தாலும் சரி படம் பக்கா. பொதுவாக கமல் இயக்கும் பெரும்பாலான படங்களை புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு ஏழாம் அறிவு வேண்டும். இல்லையென்றால் ஏழு முறையாவது படத்தை பார்க்கவேண்டும். அவருடைய திரைக்கதை அவிழ்க்கமுடியாத சிக்கலான முடிச்சுக்களால் பிணைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். ஆனால் தூங்காவனம் பிரஞ்சு படத்தில் இருந்து ரீமேக் செய்தாலும், விருப்பத்திற்கு திரைக்கதையை அமைத்து நம்மண்டையை சொறிய விடாமல், காட்சி பை காட்சி அச்சுபிசகாமல் அப்படியே எடுத்துள்ளனர். மேலும் தமிழுக்கு தேவையான சில, பல காட்சிகளையும் திணித்து தந்துள்ளனர்.
படத்தில் வரும் ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கும் ஒரு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பிரஞ்சில் படம்முழுவதும் ஒரே சீரியஸ் மூட்லேயே நம்மை கொண்டு செல்லும். ஆனால் இதில் அங்கங்கே நம்மை சிரிக்கவைக்கும், ரசிக்கவைக்கும் காட்சிகள் நிறையவே உள்ளது. பிரஞ்சு படம் பார்த்துவிட்டு இந்த படம் பார்த்தவர்களில் சிலர் மட்டும் இரண்டாம்பாதி கொஞ்சம் இழுவையாக உள்ளது என கருத்துதெரிவித்துள்ளனர். ஆனால் இந்த படத்தை நேரடியாக பார்க்கும் அனைவரையும் முழுக்க முழுக்க சீட்டின் நுனியில் உட்காரவைக்கும்.
இதில் கமல் நடிகராக இல்லாமல் கதாபாத்திரமாகவே வாழ்ந்துள்ளார். அவர் மட்டுமல்லாமல் சின்ன சின்ன காட்சிகளில் வருபவர்கள் கூட தங்களுடைய பணிகளை சரியாக செய்துள்ளனர். திரிஷாவுடன் பைட், நர்ஸ் பொண்ணுடன் கிஸ் என வித்தையை காட்டி விந்தை செய்துள்ளார் கமல். திரிஷா நடை, உடை, பாவனை படு ஜோரு. பார் உள்ளேயே நடிக்கசொல்லியதாலோ என்னவோ ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியிலும் பிரைட்டாக வருகின்றார் த்ரிஷா. பிரகாஷ் ராஜ், சம்பத், கிஷோர் பர்பெக்ட் மேட்ச்.
இறுதியில் மகனை காப்பாற்றி வீடு சேர்த்தபின், காரிலேயே மயங்கிய தந்தையை மகனே காரை ஓட்டி காப்பாற்றுவது போல் பிரஞ்சுபடத்தில் கிளைமேக்ஸ் முடியும். ஆனால் தமிழில் கொஞ்சம் அதை விரிவு படுத்தி மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்த்தபின் திரிஷாவும், நர்சும் மாறி மாறி தன் தந்தையை கவனிப்பதை உணர்ந்த கமலின் மகன் தன் அம்மாவிற்கு போன் செய்து சொல்லும் வசனம் நச். அதோடு கிளைமாக்ஸ் முடிந்திருந்தால் பிரஞ்சுவைவிட அருமையாக இருந்திருக்கும். ஆனால் அதையும் தாண்டி ஆறுமாதம் கழித்து என கமலும் திரிஷாவும் எதிரில் வரும் தோட்டா முன் சீறிப்பாய்வது கொரியன் படத்தில் லாஜிக்கே இல்லாமல் வரும் கிளைமாக்ஸ் காட்சிபோல் உள்ளது.
மொத்தத்தில் தூங்காவனம் ரசிகர்களின் ரசனைக்கேற்ற நந்தவனம்..!

Of course they are different. CKD clearly has some negative shades....It was not clear (at least to me) for a while into the movie if CKD was good or bad. I don't think he disrespects MS's boyfriend...he is clearly a rogue. But notice that he had to be coaxed into action. He was simply going to ignore it until he could not resist doing the right thing. Kitchen fight between trisha and kishore,
Subtle comedy by prakash raj & chef -> infact this is the main factor that worked for many neutral audience
Kamal energy in moving around pub,fight scenes & looks less aged like in 40's with angry desperate look -> It made me to think his career end is still far away.
No unwanted scenes except santhana bharati scene,
casting works big time
Negatives:
Nothing special for Kamal & normal story..
First 30 mins bgm is minimum which feels the movie lacks pace
First car fight could have been better..ideal scene for mass fight for fans to cherish
Climax scene where kamal & trisha jumps - not needed
It looks like movie budget is less than 10C excluding kamal budget..

And to my surprise, they watched it with total silence. There were no cat calls or taunts or jibes. They just clapped at the end and left. This is really a big thing there.
We have made a quality Tamil film with good technical work, understood and not over the top performances with a good narration. This is not a regular film where there is a grand hero introduction song, but on the contrary, begins with the hero getting bashed up. We can do this only with Kamal sir. Audiences have understood the film and are appreciating it.
