Only thing good about ATM was the music. I mean it was nice to see VJ in a negative role but the execution should have been a lot better. I hope bharathan learns from his mistakes. For music, I hope its Santosh Narayanan or even Anirudh but on Twitter people seem to want Yuvan.
His aththi recent movie was good. Let's hope for the best

I really wish Vijay would stop working with these half baked directors. Even if the movie does end up becoming a a high grosser, the quality of the movie would just bring his current position down. I would rather have a well made movie that goes under the radar than a half baked, unintelligent movie that becomes a big hit.
M Raja was doing remakes and half-bakes movies and than Thani Oruvan came out of nowhere and stunned everyone. Granted, Bharatan is nowhere experienced as M Raja as a director but I think he deserves another chance. He surely knows Vijay's stature now and this movie will either propel him to never before seen heights or possibly end his career. I think he knows what's at stake here and will probably(hopefully?) put in his best work. Now, whether his best work is half-decent remains to be seen.Quote:

Directing is not about writing/zeroing on a good story alone. Assembling the right cast and crew and execution is equally important. Raja did a splendid job in TO, no matter whose story it is. Like you said, didn't Bharathan mess up a good plot like ATM with his execution? My reservations about V60 are the same.Quote:

I am guessing the script must be very interesting for Vijay to accept this project but he must also know the capability of Bharathan. I don't trust his with any movie at all. I am not very impressed with Vijay's line-ups.

Santosh Narayanan? Excellent choice. I don't think there has been an album of his that I didn't like. He seems to have a certain grasp on all genres as well. Excited for the album. And the movie. All, if not most of the elements are there for Bharatan to give a blockbuster. Let's see how it pans out.
