Don't know what's happening to Strauss, Cook - the guys who have played a crucial part in their ascent to the top (Strauss centuries in both innings in Chennai last time).
They just have to play a long long innings for things to work.

I saw the highlights yesterday - it was not so much like the cluelessness against Ajmal and Rahman. They were doing stupid things. It was not like they were being outfoxed or anything. Just crazy.

They are capable of holding their nerve and fighting. Heck they have hung by their teeth to draw the matches in SA a couple of years back. enna oru thrill!
Now it's like they have resigned to being unable to play spin. One attack...bolabolannu vizhundhirrAinga.

Even some of the shots which Prior-Trott got runs for, were quite unnecessary.

Though Eng has played very well during that period, no way they were near the Aussies of 90-2000s or WI of 80s. I was pointing out how quickly English were trying to jump the ship and claim they are world beaters and would be the same for years to come.

PR.. if you are referring to 2nd innings in chennai test, except dravid everybody else batted well and it was a 6 wkt victory..
