A curse of the history is the fact that from Veera Pandiya Katta Bomman to Subramanya Bharathiyar; no one has been very well accepted by the related authorities when they were alive. This applies to Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan too. As soon as he passed on, the so called ‘intellectual’ media compete among themselves to express their views on his talent, (probably for financial purposes) portraying his acting ventures, which they would’ve hesitated to do before 21st July 2001. Where were those hypocrites when NT weren’t recognized by the succeeding Indian Governments from 1952? Talking hours and hours on media about films and acting, supported by the knowledge of Hollywood movies and state of the art technology, when do these so called ‘intellectual hypocrites’ mention the greatness of Sivaji Ganesan who depicted his roles before the said advantages were even exposed to the Indian cinema?
