I am leaving to uni this week. So not much chance to watch. But I do know that Arase's mother was hit by the shot fired by Nallathambi. She dies in Arase's arms ...... :cry:

Arase turns away her husband, Selvi, Kalai, Selvarani who all arrive at the house upon learning the news of their grandmother's death. She refuses them a last chance to see her mother's face, because she holds them accountable for her death. Arase leans on Udhay for support as her mother's body is brought out, covered by a sheet.
