Anarkali - the hindustaani aalap elevates the song to a different level...........karthik's rendition is perfect...........and the fusion of aalap -chinese sounds - again a speciality from ARR......lyrics - pathetic - "ulagathile miga periya poovum neeyadi" - gawddddd

Theekuruvil - very unique and different ARR composition..........pretty fast and peppy yet melodious.....ARR is the only composer who can have reggae bits and carnatic aalap in one song, iguess :lol: .........guys who havent seen the picturisation of this song - pls dont attempt to :banghead:

Aaha thamizhamma contains the "naattupura" rythms embedded into the song along with western beats........it is kinda melodious and keeps u humming even after a long time u stop listening to it......a feel good song.....

Azhagiya cindrella - this is the first song with which the movie's promos started on TV......instantly likable.....probably the lesser classy song of this illustrious album........ennai ennakke dhaan arimugam seidhaal - bit is haunting.........interlude has "konji konji ponai" chorus later developed into a much haunting "rango rangoli" chorus in munbe vaa, i believe :wink: ......

a perfect 10/10 from ARR but was wasted in a drab movie..........picturisation really su**ed.....sorry BR, this is ur worst.........u killed a beautiful album..... :evil: ........KKS - a knot in the heart of ARR fans which pains whenever u listen to the above 5 songs :cry:

Recently i read that the songs were composed a long back for another BR film which was finally dropped. Hence BR used the songs later for KKS. Can someone confirm?

One of my FAVOURITE ARR albums!

Every song is excellent, and the picturisation for the songs were also excellent. My fave was Vennilave Vennilave, Prabhu Deva and Kajol, wow, excellent chreography...it always gives me goosebumps when i see it... :smile2:

who can forget Vennilavae Vennilavae.. :musicsmile:
but ma fav is Maana Madhura song.. fast beat.. simply superb.. :clap:
