Meherabaan song from "isai kaduval" Allah kuduthha Rahman - priceless 8-)
wow, just listen to meherabaan with lights off and eyes closed - its such a great song :D
If not for the ARR song .. this album will rank alongside with one of the"I-m-just-not-interested-in-this-movie' soundtracks to have come out of the Rahman's stable.
Every song has a feel of "will this song ever end ?" kind of feeling.. rashid ali is a welcome addition though....
Got to listen to the other album now.. hope thats sounds atleast 50% of what the comments suggest...
Nah...I highly doubt that would happen. I remember reading your past ARR reviews. Your issue is with the composer and not composition.Quote:

may be sloshed could advice Amir who to use, or may be sloshed can advice ARR on how to do the music.. since, clearly he has not done a good job... rite sloshed? :)Quote:

I too am lukewarm to Ada. It doesn't click for me. Meherbaan is a fantastic song.
BTW, the marketing of this film is terrible. There's no idea of the story, no stills, no trailer. I think this movie will flop. The packaging of the CD is very nice though.
Well said, Guess_Me. It appears you have hit the nail on the head. Now for Ada songs discussion. I have listened to the first five songs. On repeated listening, all the five are good, the picks being Gulfisha, Ishq Ada, Meherbaan, Sun Hawa, and Gum sum. The last one is a fun number, not in the league of the others though. I particularly liked Gulfisha for the orchestration. Meherbaan reminds me of a recent Jodha Akbar number (I forget that song but it is the one which had some stuff from GP's veyil song). Sun Hawa is a pleasing song, but also has a "heard before" feel, IMO. These five songs alone are enough to make Ada a good album. However, I guess, from the comments, the other three or four pull it down somewhat. More later.
My Top 3
Meherbaan - A R Rahman
Hai Dard - Udit Narayan
Jaane Tu - Runa Rizvi
Retrospective, All Solo Stunners! :D

below with the song and translation:
u Hai Zabaan, Main Hoon Bayaan
Tu Hai Neha, Main Hoon Haya
Tere Bina Main Hoon Be Zameen,
Tere Bina Main Be Aasma
Tu Hai Nadiyaan, Main Hoon Sangam
Tu Naya Saal, Main Pehla Mausam
Tere Bina Main Hoon Be Zameen,
Tere Bina Main Be Aasma,
Tere Bina Main Hoon Be Zameen,
Tere Bina.....
Meherbaan .....
Tu Hai Sana, Main Hoon Ana
Tu Hahteli, Main Hoon Heda
Aaj Elaan Yeh Kar Denge, Hum Ek Hai Ek Rahenge
Jo Aajaye Koi Toofan , Kabhi Raah Se Hum Nah Hathenge
Is Berangi Duniya Ko, Pyar Se Hum Rang Denge
Wafa Ka Diya Jalayenge, Har Ghar Mein Noor Bahenge
Tu Hai Nazar, Main Nazara
Tu Hai Sagar, Main Kinara
Tu Hai Zabaan, Main Hoon Bayaan
Tu Hai Neha, Main Hoon Haya
Meherbaan
