Ameer sure would bring a different dimension to Vijay. He spoke in length about Kannabiran for Vijay.
As fellow hubbers had mentioned, Paruthiveeran was a golden miss. If I am not wrong, even Mounam Pesiyadhey was supposed to be written for Vijay.
But the only problem I see with Ameer post paruthiveeran is his tendency to drag the project beyond reasonable time like how Aadhi Bhagavan turned out to be.
Looks out of form, but Ameer is class. Vijay with Ameer would be an exciting prospect.

Thiyagaraja Kumarraja
Promising director. After Aaranya Kandam, he helped draft the screen play for Billa 2.
Any new movie in his kittty?
-
Raam I doubt because while he is very good in characterization, his movies have not fared well in the box office. Critical acclaim, yes, but box office wise, not yet proven. But nevertheless a good director.
Nalan needs to follow up with a good outing after Soodhu Kavvum.

After watching Aadhavan, i felt KSR was losing his touch. Lingaa might prove me wrong.
But best of the commercial worlds, Vijay and KSR joining hands again cannot be ruled out.

Suseendran:
One of my favorite directors among the current crop. Has penchant for realistic mass and class. Naan Mahan Alla and Pandiyanadu are among my favourite movies in the last 5 years.
He was in talks with Vijay atleast a couple of times, but no further developments.
I am sure, suseendran would be able to do justice to Vijay, plus he finishes the movie in double quick time.
Would be a nice combination, a kind of a minimum guarantee.

Cedy,
That Susee project is still on. Vijay and Susee spoke after Thalaivaa and since Vijay had already committed for Super Good films and ARM, the movie didn't happen. I thought they'll come together after Jilla and Kaththi but this Chimbudeven project came from nowhere. Let us see..

Ok Ajay. Good that he is in the loop. I heard Susee will be working with Vishal again and hopefully he comes on board after Chimbhudevan's project.
How do you see Chimbhudevan's project faring?
-
Liked OKMK. But the screenplay was disappointing. For a Vijay film, screenplay should be tight and racy. Hope Chimbu takes care of it. :)

I watched OKMK after Chimbhu-Vijay combination was confirmed by Sudeep and found it to be slow. Good concept, spoiled by low budget and slow screenplay. Hope he takes care of the screenplay for his biggest movie :)
