Thalaivar intro na All time,

Yup. Sivakasi is my favourite too. Perarasu had a brain then.

My favourite intro scene is from Pokkiri. Love the dialog delivery and punch lines from Vijay. Enjoy watching it even today after watching it so many times.

Cheers!!
Sachein
Completely contrasting to his customary larger-than-life intro, but just loved his subtle intro in Sachin.
Name titles and the background score lead into the first scene where a subtle looking Vijay watches from the window as his car hassles towards the airport.
Those where the Ghilli-Maduray-Thiruppachi days and watching him in a cool underplay of an opening scene was refreshing.
DSP's background score was good too.
Sachein was cool and breezy and was much different from the action masalas he was doing then. He and Genelia made a great pair and vadivelu rocked too. On the downside, the plot was quite similar to Kushi and Bipasha disrupted the flow of the movie.
But I liked the way Vijay dared to release it with two biggies and come unhurt.

Sachin.. what an adorable character he had....
Movie-la iruntha 2 fight-la kooda Charm irukkum.. nicely executed..!!
Wihout any second thought Sivakasi tops in my list of Vijay's best intro scenes.
As Ajay said, Perarasu had brain then :). Pure mass. This introduction always gives me goosebumps.
Next one is obviously Gilli introduction.
Prasad's intro in ATM was very stylish.
Velayudham sonna puriyaadhu song entry :notworthy:. - Colorful
I like Nanban's introduction also though it had shades of Amir Khan. Very calm but commanding.
Other good ones are - Youth, Thirumalai, Thuppaki, jilla, Puthiya geedhai ...
When there are bests there are worsts also ..
Sura - Nonsense .
Villu - Though I liked it that time doesnt look good when i watch these days.
Sachein - Dull and lifeless.
Thirumalai
The fun starts when the owner of the scooter asks 'adhu Yaru da unga hi-tech thalaivan', for which the boy shows a photo which shows a searing Vijay with a helmet. What happens thereafter is a mass intro with a good background score.
