Read Dan Brown's Inferno. Maybe thalaivar can attempt something in these lines. Jeevagan , TN's own Robert Langdon,professor of symbology MKU, trying to stop a secret society wanting to avenge the atrocities committed on samanars during the 6th century AD. In most of the interviews thalaivar keeps referring to impaling of samanars during pallava rule. So he should already be having enough research material on this.

I am really fed up of this so called "atrocity against samanars". What about the crores and crores of Hindus butchered by the Muslim rulers in the last millennium?
Haven read Inferno yet. Robert Langdon (based on his prev novels) is neither a strong nor interesting character. Action always happens around him but doesn't involve him. He just he keeps running here and there decoding puzzles and aathufying sorpozhivu throughout. Yeah, as Sakala said Govind, of Dasavatharam was more or less like him. In The Lost Symbol, I actually liked Malakh than Robert.

Watched Aalavandaan (courtesy Youtube) after almost 6 years. Loved it even more. The movie deserves a re-release... and a sequel too! :-)
