rajni is the best masala hero...not an action hero...his films are not action movies....complete entertainers....just two fight sequances!

I think you have some serious problems nilavu. I meant we both sane people know whats happening and no point in arguing about it trying to win the case against all you wonderful people. Thats what that phrase means 8-)

Nilavu Nilavu !! What can I say ??? In case you forgot, the word MASALA came into existence in the early 80s mainly for action-oriented movies .. And in those days, ppl split Rajini as an Action hero, and Kamal as a lover boy !!! I agree Kamal did some action movies in between, but on a broader scale, it's Rajini all the way ... I'm not up for any argument ... If you think Kamal is the BEST in all departments, then so be it !!! I will certainly bow down to your guys' UNIVERSAL TRUTH !!

Some of the comparisons here are like comparing Bruce Lee [THE BEST] with the Jet Lee type 'parakkum' stunts, a la Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Flying Daggers etc....

Realism, credibility, power, raw anger/energy -> Aandavar :thumbsup:
And it has to be noted that he is trained in Karate :)

Even at THIS age, nobody can hold a candle to him in action scenes - example VV, brilliantly choreographed AND executed

P.S: Wonder why 'Auction' [Thats how its written in Thamizh :) ] King Arjun has not been mentioned in this thread...
