Another reason why I find Rahman's interludes interesting/great. In Haiyo pathikichu (or even in Athiradi recently) has that good follow-through 'interludes' at about the same time, at around 90-100 seconds, nicely sets up the next set of male-female rendition:) Be it slow or fast - the songs has that spark and sounds great. :D

Great album from Rahman. Another album where I couldn't single out one song as a favorite.

A good concept - Five songs based on five elements of nature and an extraordinary effort :clap:

Even if you dont know the meaning of the lyrics, you can easily identify which element is associated with each song. That's ARR for you :thumbsup:

yup... this reminds me of something i saw on tv long time back, it was Saptha Swarangal [or some singging competition show], and the judge was L.R Easwari, so this contestant was singging En Swase Katre's Chinna Chinna Mazhaithuligal, and that lady had to tease the song saying " they only say its a rain song, but it doesnt sounds like it, we only can know it tru the lyrics "..... :roll: im sure she ate her words after listenin to Rahman's Rhythm album which his music tottaly explained the elements perfectly!! :thumbsup:

some people are like that dinesh, they cant stand it when ppl appreciate things. they have to do something to bring it down but end up bringing themselves down. :lol:
