Well, I think they wear blouses like tat not bcos they want to but bcos the quality of the cloth (esp. cotton) is like tat....silk blouses wudnt be transparent......even the colours seem to fade away fast in case of cotton blouses.....!

what shall i do, i even ordered my grandma strictly that she must not wear blouse with transparent stuffs, but she refused!

yeah, crazy. as anna says, standard blouse material is like that. my mum tries to buy the thickest she can get. but even that is a bit translucent. but it's not too bad.

The more I buy better quality sarees and accumulate a wider selection, the more I feel I can' go back to wearing the ones I had from before of lesser quality, less nicer ..Yet, I don't want to part with them. Give them away? But when you give some thing to someone, you want to give them something good, I mean something nice and of good quality.

As my draweres and wardrobe get more packed, I will have to decide, may be to throw them out. Don't know how I will feel then. I don't have this problem with other types of clothing, I can easily give them away or throw them out. Sarees are so special whether old or new or of a lower quality and there is nothing ugly in any of them, unlike the feeling of some other types of clothing old, not so old or still in good condition. I can more lend a saree. Can anyone explain why, such attitudes just to clarify my thoughts?
