IMO, these kind of heroic elements in Vivek's comedy sequences is one of the major contributors in his loss of form. People love the comedians suffering a lot and vivek is certainly losing along these lines. His slapstick comedies have become a big bore these days. He should find a good comedy writer

the best comedy of Vivek is the one in Minnale.

Madhavan and Vivek gets into an accident with a lorry.

Madhavan runs away and Vivek says with a comic that he has escaped and what type of friend is he.

Vivek will look at the lemon and chillies tied to the front of the lorry and asks to the lorry driver what is it for. he says that it has been done to avoid accidents. and vivek asks will these things make a lorry run if the thousands of parts are not in order in the lorry. :lol:

then the traffic police comes and draws the map to which vivek replies with a comic. :lol:

the police asks for the number and vivek starts reading out the police bike's number. :lol:

he will say that he has got a great influence and he knows IG but the IG doesn't know him. :rotfl:

I know I have not put it in proper manner and I have missed lots of things in between. but this is the best comedy clip. :rotfl:

For me it was Kadhal Mannan 8-) He almost played the second hero role with both comedy and a bit of serious acting. Kadhal Mannan was the turning point for me - when it comes to both Ajith and Vivek :) MSV kooda sErnthu Vivek paNNa attagAsam :lol:

The scene I really enjoyed was when he argues with Ajith saying it's not correct to fall in love with a girl who is alreayd engaged to some one else. Ajith with a guilty tone would deny the fact that he is in love with her, but Vivek would keep on pressing him to get the truth out but Ajith would keep denying. Finally Vivek loses his patience and angrily responds..

Vivek : ennangada kadha udureenga.. tharaila kAla vaingadA ..

Ajith : Loses his temper and slaps Vivek

Vivek : :shock: :shock: and then says to himself 'enna ivan, tharaila kAla vekka sonnA kannathula kaiyya vechuttAn :lol:

That's Vivek brand comedy - nAnga avaru yEthum serious'A solluvArnu nenechittirukkumpOthu - ippadi abrupt'a yEthAvathu solluRathuthAn avarudaiya speciality :)
