'Puli' Trailer: Here are the Highlights of Vijay-Sudeep Starrer Video
The trailer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer "Puli", which was released on 19 August, has become the talk of the town. Thanks to the trailer, there is a lot of expectation riding on the film.
There are many elements that have impressed the audience in "Puli" and below we list the highlights of the much-loved trailer.
Electrifying Vijay's Screen Presence
Ilayathalapathy Vijay alone is the biggest attraction of "Puli". His electrifying screen presence has taken the trailer to new heights and people are thrilled to see him in rich and colourful costumes.
Good Editing
it is often believed that the editor plays a major role in the success of a trailer, which should not give away interesting things about the movie yet generate positive vibes around it. Even in case of "Puli", Sreekar Prasad's art is clearly visible and the video-clip succeeds in living up to the audience's expectations. Without his good work, the clip would not come so well.
Sudeep
Kannada actor Sudeep may not be a big star in Kollywood but he has a good fan following like Vijay in Kannada film industry. His presence has turned out to be a big bonus, as it made his fans from Sandalwood repeatedly watch the trailer and spread good words about the same. He too will be seen in never-before avatar in the flick and his looks have won the hearts of the audience.
Brilliant Background Score/Cinematography
The brilliant background score by Devi Sri Prasad and Natty's cinematography are the other highlights of the "Puli" trailer. Their work has garnered much appreciation and they take good share of credit in the trailer's success.
Gorgeous Actresses
The trailer of "Puli" shows Shruti Haasan in gorgeous avatar and she looks vibrant and full of life. Adding to that, is yesteryear actress Sridevi in the role of a queen.

Trailer is too good after an average album. This trailer sends a statement to the audience to come with family and have a fun ride. If you have kids, don't worry they will drag you to #puli. Looking forward for the FDFS.
Only things which I thought could have been avoided is punch dialogue in the trailer, though I could understand that t is meant for hardcore fans, but it's kind of odd in the entire trailer. Vijay should limit his punch dialogues to movies like Jilla to present and appeal himself to larger section of audience IMHO.

“Vijay’s sense of humor is amazing,” says Gayathri Raman
Supporting actor Gayathri Raman, who has essayed several mother roles in Tamil cinema, is eagerly awaiting her next release Puli where she will be seen as Shruti Haasan’s mother. “I essay the role of her mom and it is a rural role in a period setup. Shruti is so down-to-earth and always mingles with everyone in a friendly manner,” says Gayathri.
And, she also had combination scenes Vijay in the film and heaps praise about working with him. I had quite a few combination scenes with Vijay sir. But during the breaks, he wouldn’t go to his vanity van, but sit under the tree along with us and chat. His sense of humor is amazing as well,” adds Gayathri.
