Plum/PR,
I also thinging Paa will NOT work with them.
PR, "Mudi Mudi" pidikkalainnu sonneenga-na "Thiruthani ku vandhu adippen, jOkradhai!"
'Paa' might not be ornate in its orchestration and experimentation, but it works, and it appeals to North Indians among my circle of acquaintances.
IMO it's the other way round - orchestration and experimentation is going to be lost-ngaradhu dhaan kavalai.Quote:

They enjoy the picture without reading the full 6000 lines of pixel. The entire than sum of its parts is being consumed. So, as you said, there is a lack of understanding the complexity. Sure :(Quote:

True. But we have to wait to measure the full response. Compared to "Cheeni kum", it will be lesser among NI I guess.Quote:

No, on the contrary, this was a film which was not liked (or was widely criticised) because the viewers insisted on "understanding" it! I thought this was a dreamy stream-of-consciousness film which isn't interested at all in setting up the viewer to "decode" it. Beyond a point, it becomes just impossible to distinguish the real from the surreal, but there's an overall sense to it regardless.Quote:
