So far no movie had collected 60% of what Endhiran collected in long run in chennai, except sivaji and dasa. The weekend collection from abovementioned movies is close to 25 to 30 percent of total collection unlike Endhiran which had moderate 12% (of 17 crores). As anban said, a lot of change had happened off late in movie business. Nowadays, distributors have more skeptical about the long run of the movie, and also they are more movies in the pipe line to release before the end of the year.Quote:
