Exactly. Problem is, I don't think directors these days will let him do that. But it would be awesome if he could go back to that style. Take the interludes of "Paruvame"... IMO the second interlude of "Paruvame" could be one of his best interludes ever.Quote:

Good ones ananth222. From which song/movie is the second interlude/BGM in your first instrumental.
Thanks! That one is from "oru chiri kandaal" (mallu song)Quote:

this song came sometime back, and has some great ludes.
The main difficulty I found was the difference in the sound quality of the different files. This affects the transitions the most. Its unfortunate that there are no real good quality recordings of many of these gems. I played around with the compression, amplification, pitch adjustment etc. on audacity to get some uniformity.. but konjam vishayam therinja innum nalla varalaam..Quote:

Interesting mix Anand...I was holding my breath whether you're going to chop the paruvamE interludes like others...that you couldn't is such a wonderful testimony as to something that cannot probably be improved....
I don't think Raja himself matched his nk score in uniqueness / richness / sophistication afterwards...even when he was at his peak...how can we expect it now...
thanx! :) yes, I liked it so much that I kept the interludes and also added part of the title theme! I'm addicted to NK music...Quote:
