When i was a kid, my mother used to sing this to me... and now i lull my kid with this song...
this song really does that magic... even now.. i would sleep peacefully hearing this song.. also the "Omanathinkal kidavo... " by irayimman thambi..
Omanathongal kidao was written when Swathi Thirunal was born.Amazing that it is still so popular.

I like all these songs like kilichilachu,thirayum theeravum,usshassam and so on.I feel that these songs are not getting their due and their music dir m k Arjunan is not getting much credit.Are there any arjunan fans here?
rajesh, this is song is sung by seethadevi as a lullaby for her kid when she was at the rishi ashram.. pulmadam here is the hut of that rishi and she says even such dry hut began to bloom around on his arrival...Quote:
