I completely support this Bay. This family thing is really getting in to lives of so many people. I sincerly hope Rajini acts for only other producers.Quote:

I don't think he's done this in ages, I mean, ages! :oops:Quote:

I wish he accepts Karan's invite and goes to KWK. At least that would make ourselves feel better and we can term this as a 'starting point to a new phase' in his public life :-)Quote:

Can't wait for his interview on Sun TV. :boo:
May be I am exaggerating but he is definitely not *at ease* in the clippings shown. *edhukku force pannraainga* maadhiri dhaan irukku. I still remember how comfortable he was (with a ciggy in his hand) in the 96 press meet and the 95 DD interview.Quote:

You want to clutch straws? Kamal or Rajini - the family has the firm hold over them. We can't be in denial
If Kamal's also in their ascendancy, why aren't the dream projects being produced by 'em? AFAIK, only Aaskar had come forward.
And even today Kamal respects Kalaignar for his literary achievements and significance. You just can't conflate that with politics & sycophancy. IMHO.
conflate - ??Quote:

Rajini interview part 1

that hunchback character/film with shankar was an interesting bit from the interview... sounds promising... dual-identity vigilante stuff thaan but should have been good fun...
aana after watching the interview, don't think he has any plans to go far from the formulaic. old, familiar analogy of being a 'caterer' and serving people what they want...
Thanks for the kind words, P_R. I try :)
Jai,
Personally think Hub has got better. Even if we miss old hubbers like Kannannn, Selvakumar, etc. And not everyone is active like the old days. The Hub is bound to go beyond 'establishing' and 'disproving' phase. There's a new-found equilibrium as against the uniformly chaotic divide of the old days.
Kid, pinnE irukkAdhA? kadandha irandu varudathula active Ana mukkiyamAna hubbers list pArthInganna, indha new found equilibirium and betterness-kAna kAraNam puriyum ;-)
Oh yes, 'strategic naradhar' velai pakkuravanga kuda "betterness"-ku karanam :)Quote:

Dileep understands commercial mass masala better than any other Malayalam hero.
In his Diwali release, Kariyasthan he has done a dance sequence inspired by Rajinikanth, which is turning out to be one of the highlights of the film.
In a dance scene in Karyasthan. Dileep appears as a Rajini fan in the superstar's getup in Yejaman and dances to the Tamil star's typical dance steps.
Remember that Yejaman was one of the most popular films of Rajini.
Audience response seems to be working big time. The sequence has been picturised as Suraj Venjaramood's fantasy when he is drunk.
Song scenes from Yejaman are also shown in this sequence.
While last week's release Four Friends had Kamal Haasan as its star attraction Kariyasthan has Rajinikanth. It seems like Rajani is the winner of this star war in Kerala theatres.
