Yes, I am surprised. Thuppakki figures doesnt surprise me, but PP figures are indeed low, considering that it opened in 40 cinemas (half of Thuppaki).

Malaysia Box Office :

1. Thuppakki - USD $ 13,19,015 - 1 week.
2. Poda podi - USD $ 2,94,829 - 1 week.

Highlight is, Thuppakki was NO 1 at the opening weekend Box Office pushing SRK's JTHJ and SOS which released alongside Thuppakki by a very huge margin :) Coming to our Kollywood trade facts now :)

1. As of now, Thuppakki is the biggest grosser of 2012 ♥. All existing records in Malaysia is been smashed by its 6 days opening itself.
