Hi Pals,
Need some help! One of the Charanas of "Rama Mantrava Japiso..." goes like this or so I thought:
sakala vEdagaLige sAraviniva mantra
mukuti mArgake ide moola mantra
bhakuti rasake omme batte tOruva mantra
sukha nidhi purandara vithalana mahA mantra
I have no problem following the first two lines and th elast line. Maybe I didn't quite catch the words right for the third line; the wordings do not make sense to me. It's from an old cassette of M.S.'s. Can someone out there help me? Thanks, Ramesh.
I have two versions of this song.

Thank you for the two versions. I would like to know what is meant by "bhakuti rasake omme baTTe tOruva mantra"
Thanks for your help!

I posted the query on another bulletin board and this is what I got. Hope this clears it up.

"baTTe tOruva mantra" is correct. baTTe means path/way. rAmamantra is the mantra that shows the path to devotion.
The last line reads as
sukhanidhi purandara viThalana mahAmantra.

Thanx meena. Wish you good luck.
Thanks Dr. Murthy for clarifying the meaning of one of the lines from "rAma mantrava japiso" - Ramesh
All,
Please send me the lyrics to the Purandara Daasa krithi:
"Saaride No Naa". I have an old cassette by the Bombay sisters,
but am not sure of the words.
Thanks,
