CHEATING MOTHER?????? >>
do you mean that i am supporting "cheating mothers" then??
Or the artistic freedom to express any given Human emotion on a public canvas??
Do you understand my point?

"Parasakthi" was scary, obscene, disobedient, militant and derogatory - for many of the censor board members of that time (1952), and also for some "elitist" cultural guardians of the early 50s of the thamizh society.
"Thiyaga Boomi" of director K subramanyam, was considered almost promiscuous and promoting pimping of the culture during that time (mid-late 40s).
But the history?!

>> The MEDIA is dominated by a bunch of perverted, talented, money-swindling personalities! >>
So why should some "Personality" be "condoned" for "corrupting" the "moralities" of the society - and others "Hanged"?????
Where are the Ground rules for "Judging"?
Why isnt there any kind of consistency in that judgement??
If this question is approached and nswered with integrity - the storm would blow over!

"Gone with the wind" got all those oscars in the year 1939 and not in 1942; my error regretted

"Where are the Ground rules for "Judging"?" -
There can be none, as such. We, human beings, endowed with a sixth sense, having climbed so many rungs on the ladder of civilisation should know what is "cultured" life and what is not!

Personal discipline, social responsibility, communal accountability - basic necessities in societal living. NO retrogation to caveman existence!
geno (@ 61.1*) on: Fri Oct 15 13:19:52 EDT 2004
But why a Mr. X is allowed to propagate "caveman's existence" with Gay abandon with encomiums showered upon him/her and another Mr. Y is executed for merely suggesting a "sanga kaala" existence?!!!!
;=)))
double-speak is the sole proprietary enterprise, eh?!!!
;=))))

>> ThEnmozhi's mother spent dedicating her whole life just for bringing up her daughter, taught her the morals she believed in. Because her marriage was arranged she learned to live with what she got and appreciate the bests her husband got and strongly believed that there is no best husband in the world who does not have any flaws......

...On the other hand, Renu's Mom used to have boyfriends besides her husband and she had several relationships. Renu's parents were divorced at the age of 5 and her mom got lot of money due to that and spent that mainly for going out on long vacations leaving Renu with the babysitters and Renu has been abused by her mom's perverted boyfriends when she was growing up. The morals Renu had been taught was completely different from the ones taught by thEnmozhi's mom. it is all environmental and situational after all... >>
