IR used TMS for "Endhan ponvannamey" song in Naan vaazha vaipen. But I dont know why he used SPB for 'Poopoley un punnagaiyil' in Kavariman.

Same like that, in "Parakkum paavai" if you hear the song "Kalyaana naal paarka sollalaama", it will seems that it was sung for Jaishanker, but actually for MGR.

almost all the songs from paayum puli was by MV which suited Rajinikanth well.
thiru theril varum silaiyo was very well sung by SPB, I don't think TMS would have done that much justice for that song during that time
In pudhukavithai MV voice suited well for Rajini whereas KJY's voice for vellai pura ondru does n't suit him.
individually if we hear vellai pura ondru, sounds great, but true
