Sakala, I agree that Bangalore is generally cleaner than Chennai. But your earlier post was in a different tone and sounded like you were blaming Chennai for some silly reasons. We've digressed a lot. So let's leave it here.

All bus have normal Numbers now. And Bangalore is ahead and one of the 1st in SOuth India, to use many Volvos.
not numbers... i mean the display of destination names for the passengers to identify... if its in english too now, then thats good... i am speaking abt the normal city buses which majority of the people use... not everyone can afford volvos...
Chennai la irukkalaam, avvalodhaan (say it like Girish Karnad says "avaaallaam irukka, avvalodhaan" in Hey Ram), aanaa Naaladi nadandhu poga oL-hour aagum
Oh no! Iyaam falling into trap. escape :yessir:
That is not affecting anyone, though agree, chennai buses are superb efficient in clearly mentioning the source and dest. Also, the Volvo/Cusion/NonAC/WhiteBoard/Yellowboard classification is even present in chennai! And also Buses are very well connected to almost all areas. Thatswhy most ppl take buses in chennai and also thats the same very reason there are quite less takers of Auto, in chennai. And of course becos of that only auto walas charge excess. but not everyone is interested in buses and also not everyone can afford the aniyaaya charges of auto.
Regular bus commuters in bangalore depend upon Bus numbers and new comers always has to ask others if this bus goes there. Thats a thing bangalore BMTC needs to correct. Volvos display areas properly.
And, in chennai bus boards, everything is only in engligh?!? No tamil?!??!
