Everyone votes for their favourite actor. That is it.
Do you guys have a valid reason to believe your say?
Please come forward.

Thiru, When you term "Actors of future" I would rather pick someone yet to strike resolutely like JRavi, Prasanna, Arya who are potential to establish themselves in future.
Its almost more that 10+/- years v all have seen ajith, vijay, vikram, maddy (late entry). They are actors of very much past & present indeed.
I changed the title. Is that fine?Quote:

Happy interviews of state award recipients
- 13.02.2006
Cinesouth.com
Applause is like tonic to artists. Awards are like energy boosts to them. Here are some of the happy interviews from the award recipients of 2003 and 2004.
Vikram has won the state award for best actor in ‘Sethu.’ He has won it for the 2nd time for ‘Pithamagan’ for 2003. “The main reason for my getting this award is director Bala. He gave me a character with no dialogues that still got me the state award. I am very proud and privileged to receive the state award for best actor.”
The Tamilnadu people – iniya Thamizh makkal - had forgotten Bharatiraja but their memories will be jogged for Bharatiraja’s ‘Eera Nilam’ has won best film award for 2003. “I am of course disappointed that this film did not reach the people.
Still, I am delighted that it got recognition from the govt,” said Bharatiraja adding praise that, “This govt is doing good to everyone and fulfilling its duties in a formal way.” Only Laila did not praise Amma. She still can’t get over the surprise of having won best actress award for 2003 for her role in ‘Pithamagan.’
After facing a string of flops, Srikanth is encouraged by receiving the special prize in Best Actor Category for 2003 in ‘Parthiban Kanavu.’ With great happiness he says that, “This is the most precious honor I have received in my life.”
Sangeetha was cast aside as an unlucky actress but director Bala gave her a wonderful role in ‘Pithamagan’ that earned her the special prize in Best Actress Category. Naturally, her hero is Bala. “He gave me a turning point in my career. The honor of this award is entirely due to him.”
Jayam Ravi is thrilled to get best actor recognition for his very 2nd film ‘M Kumaran, son of Mahalakshmi’ for 2004. He thanks everyone including his dad, mom, state govt etc!
Karu Palaniappan can’t get over the fact that his ‘Parthiban Kanavu’ has got 7 awards. His special joy is at getting the award for best director for 2003 for the film. “I am happy to get governmental recognition. And to get recognition for the first attempt is extra fulfilling. To get 7 awards is like seventh heaven!” Palaniappan’s face beams with joy.
By announcing the awards, the state government could be said to have totally charmed the Kodambakkam film industry. Both the giver of the awards and the recipients have the satisfaction of having felled many mangoes with one stone.
We also wish them all the very best!
Tamilnadu State Film Awards – awards for Vikram, Jyotika
- 13.02.2006
Cinesouth.com
The Tamilnadu State Govt brings glad tidings in announcing the film awards for 2003 and 2004 yesterday.
‘Chithan’ who won the national award in 2003, has won the state’s Best Actor Award for 2003. The Best Actress Award goes without a doubt to Laila! She gets it for her spirited portrayal in ‘Pithamagan.’
There are some surprises in the announcement of the Tamilnadu state film awards, especially where ‘Eera Nilam’ and ‘Power of Women’ is concerned. Usually, commercially successful films are in the reckoning for best film award, so it is a welcome surprise that Bharatiraja’s ‘Eera Nilam’ has won the Best Film award for 2003.
The second best film award goes to ‘Power of Women’ in which singer Hariharan has acted. The third best film award goes to ‘Parthiban Kanavu’ directed by Karu Palaniappan. Srikanth who starred in this film gets the special prize in the best actor category. Samudrakani’s ‘Unnai Charanadainthen’ gets best story and its heroine Meera Vasudevan gets special prize in the best actress category for 2003.
Among the 7 awards that ‘Parthiban Kanavu’ gets, the most prestigious is the best director award for K Palaniappan, who has not had any film release after that. This should be very encouraging for him.
Jayam Ravi gets the best actor award for 2004 for his role in ‘M Kumaran, son of Mahalakshmi.’ Jyotika gets best actress award for her role in ‘Perazhagan.’ ‘Autograph’ is best film of 2004, ‘Vishwa Thulasi’ by female debut making director gets second and Malayalam film re-make ‘Kannaadi Pookkal’ gets third prize. Cheran missed the national award for best director, but has got the state award.
Apart from this, announcements were also made for the Arignar Anna Awards, Raja Chando Awards, MGR Awards, Kavignar Kannadasan Awards, Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan Awards and Thyagaraja Bhagavathar Awards.
