Ileana to pair up with Vijay?

We have already reported that Vijay is busy preparing for the shoot of Pokiri, a remake of the Telugu hit by the same name. The question is who would be the heroine. Asin was considered first as a good choice but Vijay may opt for the heroine of the original film, Ileana herself. While Ileana is busy with a handful of projects in Andhra, she is eager to pair with the Ilaya Thalapathi. That would shoot her to fame in Tamil, a much sought after field by heroines.

She is already pairing with Ravi Krishna in KD. If KD hits the screens before Pokiri, that would be good pilot for this diva.

other day i read a news about a sentiment in tamil cinema.

they wrote when a heroine's 2nd film gets released before her 1 st film, she'd become very popular....

Vijay was here for the Bangaram release but developed cold feet and rushed home with Pokiri remake rights. Now the news that hero Vijay wants none other than Ileana to act in the film, the remake of Pokiri.

Will Ileana take up this tamil offer or not needs to be seen. Vijay thinks Ileana is a crowd puller and why not. But as of now Ileana has no time to even think. She is on bed recuperating and on the other side she has basket of films waiting at her door.

Trade circles reported that 'Pokiri' collected Rs. 15 Crore in the first two weeks. That's old news. Now, after the completion of third week, the film collected a thumping Rs. 18 Crore and still going in the same pace.

Experts say that the film would certainly break the records of 'Okkadu' and it has the stamina to collect not less that Rs. 25 Crore at the end.

On the other hand, sentiments are finding their room with the thumping triumph of 'Pokiri'. Many are saying that Ileana is the lady luck behind any film. She acted in two films and both turned super hits. Her first two films- Devadasu and Pokiri are getting dubbed and remade into Malayalam and Tamil respectively.

Well, Ileana is about to shoot up her claim of remuneration with these successive hits.

Lets see if Asin can have same sort of impact in Blade Pakkiri
