However, I’m not sure about those films having his signature mark of winking his eye, folding his tongue and exclaiming an “ Ahhnn !! “ and giving a blessing pose at the same time. :D

He could have very well dragged the shoot and finished it after his trip. But, he was NT, who doesn’t want to waste the producer’s money and other people’s time & energy. And, may be because of this hurry burry, the director was not able to squeeze his brains and concentrate more on Marudhu’s character.
Moreover, sticking on to the title, only Pandian’s characterization was done more conspicuously when compared to the other two. Had the title been, “ Baley Sankara Marudhu Pandia “, then each of them would have got equal shares.
In this big list'la barring a couple of films (old getups) all have similar get-up / make-up.. only the difference is in body weight & face over the years.. :clap:Quote:

ok, hold on to your seat belts :lol2:
another lovable character on screen - surya in Mayavi :D .........alaipauthey's madhavan and all - favorite characer in real life too yaa  ......infact most of mani's protaganists are very close to real life (for me) - Anil kapoor in pallavi-anupallavi, karthik in mouna ragam, amala/karthik in agni natchithram, arvindsamy in roja/bombay, aishwarya rai(second one) in iruvar, sharukh in uyire, simran in kannathil muthamittal, siddarth/surya in ayutha ezhuthu
Oookay....don't call me for a drink with your pals. I don't want to be arrested by a Goutham (AN), beaten up by a Velu (Nayagan), slashed by a Surya (Talabathi), or listen to lecture by that hot tempered writer who went to Sri Lanka. :twisted:Quote:

Its VADIVUKARASI character in muthal mariyathai.
Imagine a woman,
* who loved or could love NONE other than the first man in her life
* try she could she was not happy
* she married for the sake of her child, lived for the sake of the society
*she scorned and yelled at all anyone who possibly disrupted her dream world, where without her knowledge she just lived with ONE MAN, the first man, her first love
* she had pent up frustration, and she strewn it amply around. Because thats all she had!! to give!!!
*When her man comes back again and is found dead, she actually becomes a widow (very beautiful direction) !
She lived a dream life, lived for a man who never cared a penny for her! She loved nobody and nobody loved her. Wasted life! pathetic character! WONDERFULLY portrayed by vadivukarasi!.
My heart goes out for her char !

Prabha
But I belive we are discussing on the lovable characters here.. :yessir:

SP,
Agree with you ..very unusual character.
Not unusual joe, IMO, I feel such characters exist in almost every gully. We have seen some aunts, or neighbours or some old ladies, uncles, just anybody who FROWN feel out of place and dis-associate themselves from the regular fun and goodwill. I am kind of very sure every such individual is piled up with frustration of different order, which is personal, and which cannot be shared.
எது இருக்கோ அது தான் share panna mudiyum. All they have is frustration about themselves, so all they share with others are frowns and sharp words.
VRMBBS la vara mathiri, everybody needs a hug :) katti pudi vaithiyam :D
