I offer my condolences. I have never seen much of his work but it is tragic to know he has left a family behind.
It is shocking to be reminded how quickly someone's life can be taken away sometimes.
Take this as a reminder to appreciate those around you, as we never truly know which day will be their last.
RIP!!

Tamil actors pay homage to Murali

Exactly - a timely reminder of our mortality I guess. When a 60+ or 70+ artiste passes away, the 80's generation wouldnt probably feel it(unless as a die hard fan of that person). But Murali, the eternal college student of 80's - ouch, that is indeed a reminder that our time will also come. I dont really post in condolence threads but this is a very good point SP.Quote:

He was young, energetic! Having seen him on this show, I just couldn't believe that the news was true. I was shocked!
May his soul rest in peace :(
Heard yday he is a heavy drinker! People said he used to drink alot when he came to shootings over here!
He initially was not a drinker.Quote:

Poor thing!! Even though ppl in my house dont follow his movies regularly, as they do for other actors, everybody was in a state of shock yesterday after hearing this sad news!!!
Watching Pottu vaiththa oru vatta Nila on youtube again is going to bring a lump to my throat everytime. That song, more than anything, was what Murali was all about. Sathyaraj once remarked in a lighter vein that Murali was the one Tamil actor who never managed to graduate out of college. Many thanks for that though. Otherwise, we would'nt have all these soulful songs pouring out unrequited love.
Hope his soul rest in Peace...
Bana Kathadi dvds sold out here.. :x
That's one thing i wanted to tell. But did not know how to put it. so just left it.Quote:

Murali, Simran movie Kannoadu kaanbathellaam is going on in KTV now.
If some one interested :)
its honestly very traumatic to know that you are not going to see someone ever again - its a sinking feeling which has no limits downwards.......im slowly feeling the pinch of murali's loss - mani's first tamil hero, kannadiga who had a seamless tamil accent and supported eelam struggle, darling of the middle-class soft popcorn love stories of 90s.......
my earliest memories of watching a murali movie in theater retracts back to this movie

I did not mean to offend any one, I just replied to Thamizharasan question. I dont find anything funny in that, if you do best of luck!
OMG! So Shocking! He was very young too... :( Hope his family finds comfort and peace.
I still find it hard to believe this news is true.
Murali's passing away came as complete shocker to me. I couldnt believe it for days. He was a fine actor. He excelled in his roles as angry young man in adharmam, iraNiyan, dEsaiya gItham while he was comfortable at home playing the love stuck hero yet to open up his mind to his girl.
BaaNa kaaththadi had a dialog where karunas say.... "ippO thaan theriyudhu unga appaa yean alpaayusula pOnaar-nu". So sad that it came true.
