For Tula lagnam, Guru becomes rank maraka and for Mithuna Lagnam, Guru becomes Badhakadhipathi. Hence His situation in Lagnam is detrimental to a person's well being and overall health, wealth and happiness.
In Meena Lagnam, Guru's situation in Lagnam has been found to be not bad. But I cannot say the same for Dhanus lagnam.
Speaking of karakathwa, situation of a karaka in his own karakathwa sign brings destruction/problems etc . Example is Sukra in 7th, etc.
