Because if we try to find fault with Vairamuthu in the days he was associated with Raaja - we are finding fault with Raaja as well. So this is a pointless exercise.

However one more point to bear in mind is that cinema, particularly thamizh cinema has lions and yet wants to show only circus, as far as I am concerned Vairamuthu, kamal raaja, MSV or anyone for that matter have beeen largely treated like that alone.
So judging them by our imaginary standards applicable to entities who can create without any compulsions would be grossly unfair.
The only point for Raaja fans is that so much has been done by Raaja inspite of being treated like a circus lion all these days.

It's not a question of judging jai, simply analysis - that too in comparison with others who have performed in the same circus ring of "மீட்டருக்கு மேட்டர் அல்லது மேட்டருக்கு மீட்டர்":-) While IR had proper control on his meter , lyricists like VM understood matter as "matter":-)

My objective is to simply bust the allegation that it was IR who brought down the standards of lyric in TFM. Though limited in quantity, samples from IR-KD combo do exist which prove otherwise.

Such samples compare favourably with "KD + pre-IR MD combo songs", thus negating the argument that IR brought the house down. It's obviously the issue of limitations of later-day lyricists in bringing out fantastic thoughts in simple, accessible language.

முன்னே பின்னே எல்லாம் பார்க்கவே வேண்டாம், இங்கு வைரமுத்துவுக்கு ஏன் "சிறப்பு" கவனம் அளிக்கப்படுகிறது என்பது எனக்கு நன்றாகவே தெரியும். ARR, மணிரத்னம், பாலசந்தர் போன்றோரும் ராஜா பக்தர்களால் "சிறப்பாக" கவனிக்கப்பட்டவர்களே.
