The recent article by Abishek Raaja on Vijay's singing was a good read.
Despite turning everyone off because of his early looks and the type of movies he acted, Vijay's singing even in those early days was peppy. His stunts were quite good too. When he started exhibiting graceful dancing and evolved a causal acting style of his own, he suddenly became an allrounder and a versatile commercial actor :) His comedy timing and sense have also come a long way.
