For the first time in her career, Tamannaah is all set to play the role of a village girl.

Till now the directors shied from casting her in the village roles since she is considered to be too fair for such roles.But in her upcoming film with Dhanush (Rajinikanth’s son in law), she would wear the langa-voni (half sarees).

Says director Hari who transformed Anushka as a village babe in the Singam movie,’ I was able to transform Anushka as a village babe. Why cannot I do the same with Tamannaah?”

But he also admits that there is a difference between Anushka and Tamannaah. “Aushka is not too fair and our job became easy. But with Tamannaah, we have to put makeup to make her look less fair” he said!

Tamannah still looks very fair. Beautiful, though.

I noticed that the colour of one of Tamannah's outfits has been digitally changed twice.
