MALAYSIA BOX OFFICE : ALL TIME TOP FIVE GROSSERS

Well, Malaysia is a prominent contributor for the box office collections of Tamil films in overseas. Now the latest is that Kaththi is doing phenomenal performance in Malaysia by collecting 1.86 million $ ie., approximately 11.40 crores and entered into the the top three all time grossers in Malaysia along with Rajini's Endhiran and Sivaji.
According to our sources, here is the comprehensive list of the top five Tamil films in terms of gross collections in Malaysia:
1) Endhiran - $ 3.04 million
2) Sivaji - $ 2.42 million
3) Kaththi - $1.86 million*
4)Singam 2 - $ 1.78 million
5)Thuppakki - $ 1.73 million

Kaththi 2nd weekend overseas collection :
Vijay and Samantha Starrer Kaththi which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss had a good second weekend in USA and UK, but in Malaysia the film had shown huge drop in its second weekend after earth shattering opening weekend.
Trade Reports:-
USA: In its second weekend, the film has collected Rs. 20.37 lakhs ($33,196) on 44 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 46,289 ($754). Total collection Rs. 3.83 crore ($624,591).
Canada: In its second weekend, the film has collected Rs. 24,340 ($396) on 1 screen and total collection Rs. 4.50 lakhs ($7,334).
UK: In its second weekend, the film has collected Rs. 26.69 lakhs(�£222,581) on 23 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 1.15 lakhs (�£1,183). Total collection Rs. 3.14 crore (�£320,471).
Australia: In its second weekend, the film has collected Rs. 7.55 lakhs (A$ 14,152) on 7 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 1.07 lakhs (A$ 2,021). Total collection Rs. 1 crore (A$189,096).
France: The film has totally collected Rs. 1.15 crore (€150,000).
