I am sure all will be having indigestion problems, after taking too much of the Deepavali goodies.
Here is a simple home remedy. It will also help
to loose weight if consumed daily in place of normal drinking water.
CUMIN WATER
Ingredients:
2 tbs cumin seeds
1 litre water.
Mehod:
Heat a pan and dry roast the cumin seeds till you get
a good aroma. Do not roast till black.
pour in slowly the water and let it come to a boil slowly.
keep it in the sim for about 10 minutes.
The water will turn yellowish in colour.
Remove and strain, you can drink it while still warm or cold.
Dilute it if you find the taste a bit bitter.
For indigestion drink it as it is.

Actaully,in my school going days,one of my friend she is frm kerala,she used to bring this water in her water bottle and she used to say,that in her home they all will take this water only instead of normal water.
I used to take some frm her.Mostly all my friends used to drink frm her bottle.
She used to tell that this water will reduce the body heat .
But today i got the method of it frm u .Am going to make it by today itself.thank u akka.

There are many ways to do this salad.
This is how I do.
SPROUTED MOONG SALAD
Ingredients:
1 cup sprouted moong dal
1/2 cup cucumber chopped into cubes (remove seeds)
1 tomato chopped into cubes (remove seeds )
1 green chillie chopped
1 onion chopped
4 strands of coriander leaves chopped
1/4 tsp of pepper powder
lime juice to taste
salt to taste
Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Toss well.
Chill and serve for lunch.

Sweet Corn chaat :
Cook the sweet corn & seperate the pearls. Add some salt, pepper & everest paani puri masala. enjoy...:)
variation: add chopped onions, tomatoes,cucumber & cori leaves to the above.

Selviem the sprouts are not steamed.
I added them raw. You can slightly steam if you like.
