I read that he was stopped by the police, got out of his car and started running. Maybe alcohol was involved, no other explanation why he ended up on the train tracks. Unless like you said it was suicide. I watched him on TV a few times, very good player, would be definitely been in the England squad in a few years time. :(Quote:

1. drunken driving - the maximum they would do is cancel the DL (if he has done any serious damage, that would have been in news already)
2. escaping from the police, he ran into the underground train? (by running into the underground station and jumping infront of the speeding train? is it like, he wanted to commit suicide to escape from cancelling his driving licence? or while he was just running away from cops he accidentally jumped in front of the train?)
